Two people. One fake relationship. What could go wrong? When virgin Shannon Travers gets fed up with her friends demanding that she find a boyfriend, she enlists the help of tattooed, mohawk-rocking graphic design student Jett. He's more than happy to play along with their Fake Relationship, including the Ten Rules of Fake Dating that control-freak Shannon comes up with. Even if he likes to violate them. Repeatedly. But what happens when Fake Dating starts to feel... not fake anymore? Will Shannon be willing to let go and embrace the first thing in her life that's ever felt REAL? *This is a New Adult Contemporary Romance and is suitable for ages 17 and up*

After reading My Favorite Mistake, Chelsea M. Cameron was THISCLOSE to ending up on my auto-read list. After reading For Real, though, Chelsea is now on the list without a doubt. I want to read what she writes. I WANT IT. Seriously, though. I want.

For Real was super good. Incredibly cute, funny, and endearing, it held everything I look for in a contemporary book. Shannon and Jett freaking rocked. As a couple and as individuals. They are highly amusing and adorable together. Shannon has some nice character growth from the beginning of the story to the end, becoming a stronger person in general. I like that. And Jett...ahh, Jett. I want to be best friends with him. And he made a nice arc as well by the end of the story.

So pretty much if you add my love for these two characters together, you get some kind of huge adoration-filled explosion. And that's not even including Javi, who I LOVED.

While the premise of this story wasn't entirely unique, it was entirely intriguing. Chelsea M. Cameron did a fabulous job of executing that premise that caught my eye and the novel ended up making me all kinds of happy. I liked how the story panned out, and how the ending was reached. The less time I have to go without seeing Jett, the better.

I LOVED IT. That's for sure. I loved the characters, I loved the story, I loved the writing, I loved this whole darn thing from beginning to end. It is a fluffy story, but I loved that, too, because sometimes you just need a fun, sweet love story to balance out all the other things that tear at your emotions all the time. I liked being able to laugh and fall in love with Jett, no worries.

GAH. I wish I could adequately explain how much I seriously love and enjoyed this book. Really, I do. Let me just say this--read it. It'll make you laugh, swoon, and flat-out happy. Trust me. :)
